During the race, officials became aware of three riders venturing outside of the allotted 25-feet from the course marker arrows during a section of the first lap on racing. Taylor Kiser GNCC Round #6 Report
Taylor Kiser May 2, 2009 – Weekend Warrior Titan – Lafayette, Tennessee Saturday morning it was pouring down rain and it was obvious by the destruction in the pits that it would take its toll on the track. Watching the morning race I saw that the course was plenty muddy and I realized it would be a long day; but one I was ready for. On the line I remained calm and just prepared to ride smart and to keep myself out of trouble. I had a great jump off the line when the flag went up. I was edged out for the holeshot but by the time I hit the woods I had gained control of the lead. I made a few small mistakes on the first lap that cost me a few positions but I charged forward to make up the ground and was scored in seventh place at the end of the lap.
